Stayed at Glen Loch Inn and found it to be charming and a pleasant surprise. Formerly a roadside motel in the Chippewa Falls, WI area, it has been converted to a unique and very cool bed and breakfast. The owner, Marilyn, converted the former owner’s unit to a beautiful dining space complete with antique musical instruments. An incredible home cooked breakfast was included in the price of the room, and we were unexpectedly treated to an impromptu concert from a Twin Cities professional violinist who also stayed at the Inn and played a violin owned by Marilyn! Our room was quaint and comfortable and housed a king sized bed with headboard, a nightstand, a side table with two arm chairs, and flat screen TV. The bathroom, though compact, had everything we needed and it had “retro” vibe to it. The building looks like an old road side motel, but you’ll be surprised as I was. This property certainly falls into the “don’t judge a book by its cover” category! PS. As a former hotel manager, I can tell you this Inn was the cleanest of its kind I’ve ever seen!
